Bottled: Nose with malt, light bready and some metallic hops. Flavor is malty, light sweet, light sugary with metallic hop notes. Bitter, astringent finish. Ok, clean märzen.

Draught at the Rauchhaus in Seeon, Chiemgau. Pours a gold/amber with a mid-sized white head and aromas of malt and peach. Rich bodied with notes of orange and of peach wine, but it thins on the palate and doesn’t hang together as well as it should. The finish is bitter with soft peppery hops notes.

Hazy amber, quite carbonated, stable off-white creamy head. Yeasty aroma. Slightly honeyish malt, well-balanced. good body, mellow mouthfeel.

Bottled (BB 11/2004)
Nut brown, small creamy off-white head. Nose is mild and has rye, herbs and malts. Medium-bodied, malty, sweetish with hints of sugar or toffee. A bit yeasty, maybe not fully fermented.
