Bottle
Cloudy yellow, fine champagne bubbles, quite a head development. Grain and banana aroma and also some strange clay notes. Unusually grainy and hayish base with estery fruity and minerally earthy notes which give it a dry finish. Medium bodied, sparkly mouthfeel. A interresting weissbier.

(bottle) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Mildly sweet and sour fruity aroma with notes of citrus and banana, accompanied by moderately clovy spices. Slightly sweet and bitter-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Yeasty and slightly grainy taste with a moderate wheat-character and notes of banana and a whiff of vanilla; quite dry, mildly bitter-tart and clovy finish and shy fruity notes in the aftertaste. Okay but not overly challenging Hefeweizen. 06.XI.11

50cl bottle from the Doemens stash. Light blond color with a very thick yeast milkshake appearance and a dissipating head. Fairly standard aroma with a nice big banana component and plenty of clove, though the banana being more prominent seems notable. Light vanilla as well. Very low bitterness and a light tart bite in the flavor. Fruity and a touch clovey in the finish. Big shocker. Just a little sticky-sweet on the tongueNice full, round texture but not heavy and a nice spritzy carbonation. Good stuff, and a good standard hefe with lots of flavor while still being quite easy to drink.

Hazy yellow color, foamy head. Nose with wheat and bready notes, oranges, hintzs of citrus and spices. Flavor is spicy, light peppery with intensive notes of cloves. Orange fruitiness, dry finish with spice notes.

(Bottled) Orange color with medium, white head. Slightly stuffy, sourish and fruity aroma. Slightly sour, medium-fruity flavor with not much yeastiness. Slightly sticky finish. Dry, medium-carbonated, quite hard palate. A nice, dryish hefeweizen.
