COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Eingebraut wird unser Baumburger Klosterdunkel nach alter Rezeptur mit 12,9% Stammwürze. Dies führt zu einem Alkoholgehalt von 5,5% Vol.. Ganz nach alter Tradition wird zum brauen unseres Dunklen nur dunkles Malz verwendet. Es wird nicht zusätzlich gefärbt oder verändert. Wie schon zu Opaszeiten wird ein aufwendiges Zweimaischverfahren angewandt. Auch wird dieses Bier, wie früher schon, nicht filtriert. Allein durch kühlen und lagern wird die Klärung (Entfernung der Trübstoffe) erreicht. Deswegen führen wir im Zutatenverzeichnis auch noch die Hefe auf, obwohl das Bier soweit geklärt ist, dass man die Hefe mit blosem Auge nicht mehr sehen kann. Durch dieses aufwendige Brauverfahren ist es uns gelungen eine wirklich Bierspezialität nach traditioneller Rezeptur herzustellen, wie es schon da Opa getrunken hat.

Clear light medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, nutty notes, bread notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, keller, caramel, light bread, roasted notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottled. An amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hay, leading to a dry nutty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

bOTLED Aroma is fruits and some alcohol. Very sweet beers the oneäs i had from this area. Flavour is quite much the same. If there are punk, drink this abd happy.
