COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tolles Bier!

Bottle from Bieershop Bayern. Glowing amber, caramel nose. Burned sugar, subtle bitterness, opens into a complex palate. Nuts, grain, bread crust. Very pleasant, rich for the low ABV.

330 ml bottle from Wasanas in Germany. Pours a clear medium amber color with a frothy, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is rosted malt and coco. Taste is very nice mellow roasted nut and malt taste. Palate is smooth and not too watery as is often the case with this beer style. Really nice.

OleR (4802) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 3, 2012
0.33 L bottle, shared by KnutAlbert. A layer of blond bubbles, upon a bright amber body with a reddish tint. Fruits, caramel and a marzipan-like nuttiness to the nose. Rounded and complex flavor of caramel, bakery, nuts and fine fruits. Bitterness for balancing only. Well-bodied and soft in the mouth. A really tasty and interesting Dunkel.

lusikka (6559) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2012
330 ml bottle.
Pours a dark copper colour with a very small head. Aroma of dark bread, nuts and some caramel. Flavour of toasted malts, dark bread, chocolate, mild sourish berries, caramel and grassy hops. Very smooth and round mouthfeel with a malty, caramel, light bitter finish. Wow, this is actually quite complex. Like.

Nice fairly rich dunkel malts, woody, doughy yeast and oatmeal cookies. Complex for a dunkel. Light bitter, active yet small carbonation. Taste isn’t as complex though but still nice. Classic appeal, quality brew. Nice. (33cl bottle shared by Jochem from Wasana’s Getrankenoase and again at home, thanks!)

Nice sweet dunkel, with a bit of a bite at the finish. Points dedcuted for a so-so appearance, looks flat, little head. All else on this one is nice.

Bottle looks a bit complex, but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts intense malty, not too roasty but with intense caramel notes. Modest dry background. Finish milder, less dry, a bit metallically. Not bad.

Bottled at PBF. Hazy amber, small head. Roasty and toasty. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Roastuy coffeeish malt, slight grassy bitterness. Laid back.
