Darker hazy golden with thick creamy head. Aroma is bread and bananas, a hint of citrus. Taste is a little lighter than the smell, but overall mouthfeel leans towards the heavy side. A very nice weizen.

500 ml bottle from Wasanas in Germany. Pours a deep dark cloudy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is esters, bananas, fruit and wheat. Taste is sweeter than the aroma but even better. Palate is a bit estery but still within limits for style. Very nice.

It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of mild yeast, wheat and fruit. The sweet flavor has notes of mild yeast, fruit and wheat - not very strong, but also not watery.

Bottle. Best until 9/12. Blonde. Citrus, banana and a hint of clove in both aroma and flavor. Sweet with caramel fudge. Still a good balance.

Hefig-bitterer Antrunk mit deutlicher Karbonisierung. Die Hefigkeit bleibt zwar lange schmeckbar, die Bitterkeit legt aber deutlich zu und ist so schnell das stärkste Aroma. Herb-holziger Mittelteil, eher milder Abgang. 10/8/9/7/9/8

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, modest turbid, nice head. Starts mild, yeasty-dry, fruity like banana. Finish drier, almost a bit floury. A bit boring, but still quite drinkable. Thanks to quack-duck for that one!

Hazy medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana, bubble gum, fruity, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, yeasty, fruity, banana, clove. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20120728]
