Bottle from Beers of Europe. Unusual creamy aroma. Slightly hazy, rich golden colour. Strange flavour for a pale lager - butter and cloves, slightly sweet. Interesting, different and not bad.

Draught in Riga. Malty, cereals, clean taste. Nice flowery hops give bitterness in the tail. Enjoyable, quaffable.

On keg in Riga. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. Aroma is very bready with caramel and light grassy hops. Similar bready flavour with mild bitterness and grassy hops again. A little oily mouth-feel with mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. Caramel linger. Not too bad.

This had a strange taste making it hard to review.Pleasant golden appearane misleads you into thinking that you are getting a pleasant but ordinary lager. What you do get is a strange cardboard like lager with a lingering but not unpleasant afttertaste. Not sure at all about this one and not really happy about trying another bottle.

Standard lager look. Full taste with strong malt flavour. Good, I’d have another one.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is a bit sweet with a little bit of minerally character. As it warms up it’s actually pretty decent. A little bit of light sweetness and some faint herbal character. Pretty decent actually - works with my shishlak.

Another macro LAtvian brewery, not bad, not special, refreshing and nice flavour.

Bottle. Pours copper with off-white head. Bright hop aroma along with some metal notes. Taste and aroma have a lot of sharp pine and juniper. Some bitterness and herbal flavors. Not too much sweetness. Very good.

500 ml bottle. From Latvia. Amber colour. Nutty, woody? and sweet aroma. Sweet, buttery (diacetyl) and nutty flavour. Lots of diacetyl but I like this beer.

Bottled. Golden coloured, big white head. Aroma is quite sweet, caramellish malts. Sweetish flavour of sweet alcohol at first (around 7-8C). After it gets waremer it kind of gets fuller, it’s sweet alcohol along with some sweetish fruit. Doesn’t need much, but this is actually very good for a lager, as "getting warmer" is not a big issue, rather it is adding tothe flavour.
