Bottle. Blonde. Grain and cheap sweets in the aroma. Grainy sweetish flavor with apple. Watery. Not good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled from a small tasting can. Clear golden color, small white head that disappears fairly quickly. Aroma is surprisingly pretty fruity. Taste also has that fruityness and some bitter. This is weird, surprisingly good actually. Way better than expected.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
30cl Bottle from AH. Palest golden colour I’ve ever seen on a beer, white head. Surprisingly nice aroma (at first whiff) of floral and light grassy hops, white bread, hint of cereal. Flavour is light-medium sweet, aspartam, white bread, light floral, light grassy and aluminium bitterness, after the finish a little nasty flavour comes rolling back in the mouth. Very light bodied, watery, light fizzy, but at least it’s not overly sweet as most N/A beers.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
33cl bottle from my local Albert Hein.
Thick white head. Clear golden pour. Heavy malty taste. Ok for a NA beer.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Medium to smaller sized white head which changes awfully quick into a broken airy floathing pieces of lacing on top of a clear yellow colored beer.
The smell is not that bad, for once actually a good smelling 0% alc beer from Bavaria: some hops, even a touch of citrus and something grapefruit ish, some honey, malts, sweeter grains, hint of oatmeal, pretty crispy and overall (I have to admit) a good smelling (0%alc) beer.
Taste loads of oatmeal, corn, malts, soap, light bitter (but than soapy bitter), hint of cookies, plants (sharpness), some lightly sharper/stingy herbs and a hint of honey.
Towards the aftertaste the taste seems to lightly evolve itself to a more grainy citrus and bitter aftertaste, which I think is pretty decent. The aftertaste even slightly (seriously slightly) reminds me of an IPA or something hoppy, but again just a slight hint.
Low carbo, harder mouthfeel with a soft edge, thin and low body and a watery texture.
I think the smell is good, aftertaste is a bit thin, but still quite ok. The taste itself is not that good and it’s a bit of a thin beer overall.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ brewday. Aroma is floral notes, some cardboard, sweet malts. Flavour is watery malty wort with some hops. Not bad for a na.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
15 cl can @ home. Pale yellow with a decent white head. Looks like a regular pils. Smells amazingly hoppy, malts, quite fresh. Tastes malty and quite thin, but other than that there’s also a nice fresh hop flavour. Too bad the typical non-alcohol maltiness takes over most of the flavor. Could use a bit more carbo and a bit more body, but what can you expect from a zero alcohol beer. At least it’s not completely flat. I’d say it’s a fairly nice product and it’s better then most other alcohol free pilseners. In case of having to be the designated driver, this should get you through the evening.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The head is unstable, the body golden. It smells barley, wort, pungend. The taste is watery, wort, a bit barley. 6/6/5/6/7/6

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
So how does this compare to the ’original’? Pours the same golden clear body with frothy and lasting white head. Aroma still has some grainy sweetness but also a citric smell. But I think it’s not the hop but rather the addd ’aroma’ ingredient. Taste has also a citric, cleaning detergent feel and feel thinner and more artificial than the original. Well, this is a clear loser! Really bad although not because of the sweetness for a change. (33cl bottle)

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear golden colour, firm white head. Citrus aroma, bit like hops, but somewhat weird, malts, lime/grapefruit. Sweet malty flavour, sugar, reminding of raw sugar beet, bit sickly. Quite sickly sweet finish with lime touches.
After being thoroughly impressed by the 0.0 wit (which only had a few minor flaws), this is a bit of a disappointment. I’m convinced that in the near future Bavaria will brew a beer you can’t quite notice it is completely NA. Unfortunately, this is not this beer.
