"Interesting to see the Bavaria selection in CR. Exploring a different style rather then the Pale Lager wich you find everywhere. Dortmunder was slightly more grainy, grassy and herbaceous. Had noticeably different taste then the imperial which was nice. Not sure the story behind the Bavaria brews, but I think it was a nice change of pace."

Often said to be the best that Costa Rica’s beer monopoly has to offer. It does look pretty enough, a lovely bright amber with a rocky off-white head. Nose is bready, slightly toasty, and vaguely metallic. Faint notes of fruit and cookie there. Taste is a gigantic letdown. Lightly bitter, faintly sweet, papery, and mostly empty. Faint bitterness in the aftertaste. Que lastima.

Can: Drank with ramenen and rcasta. Nice brown red color, quite flavorful with some hoppy bitternes.

no dude is the best beer in Costa Rica,con una apariencia de colección por su embase, un aroma fuerte y un color dorado brillante, de sabor medianamente fuerte y una mezcla de alchol excelent.

Best beer I had during my trip to Costa Rica.Aroma is slightly sweet and roasty. Nice, decent head that lasts....Sweet and almost fruity taste...but subtle malty and floral qualities. Not fantastic, but definitely the best beer I tried in Costa Rica.
