Origin: Can. Vessel: Goblet. Supplier: Intermarché (Lézignan). Pours golden with quickly disappearing head. Marzipan nose gives way to rising floral sweetness.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
can from palma.
clear yellow, bubbly fluffy offwhite head.
Aroma is malty, boozy, herbal, some of the same apple like flavor as in an energy drink.
flavor is boozy and herbal. warming alcohol.faint fruity note, dried fruits, tastes as if it was a dark colored beer. herbs makes it sort of resemble belgian stuff, but it is basically a herb spized booze bomb.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
50cl can at our holiday home in France. Clear dark golden with a medium white soapy head with low retention. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Herbal bitterness with a lot of sweet tones. Grains, herbs, some acetone, malts and caramel. I expected less from this one, although this was still not that good it was ok.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
It diverts to the worse from the original. It’s almost the same, but more watery, flatter, less powerful and just developing a hint of herbs (nothing to do with real absinthe, btw). I’d stick to the original, rather.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
aahh, yesss… jaa, welll….so! Hm! At least, this aroma is completely unique. It’s sweet and has an uncommon herbal aroma. You might expect this kind of aroma elsewhere, but not in a beer. Now, it’s hard to judge, it’s unique, it’s not ’beer’ but still it’s not unpleasent. Let’s be open...!
Here starts the fun part. Absinth… everybody knows it (or has heard about it) but only few really know about it and especially it’s taste. Well, this beer is flavoured with Absinth Vermouth and this blend brings you an explosion of unedited flavours such as wood, peppers, grass, sweet sugars, woodruff and a spicy burning mothfeel. There is no comparison to other beers. Still, I found a very subtle cappuccino touch - or was that my tongue looking for something familiar?
This might be an upcoming trend beer for young and party people. But for beer lovers? It’s absurd.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bière mal équilibrée, des arômes d’herbes , un alcool plutôt prononcé, une finale amère , vous l’aurez compris c’est pas la bière du siècle.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
50 cl. can @ home, gift from Rick.
Golden with a thin white head. Grainy aroma with hints of aromatic herbs and spices.Taste is like any standard strong pilsener but the herbs make it stand out a little from the rest of the sub-par (Bavaria) strong pilseners.
Not too bad.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Carrefour, Nice. Bright golden-bronze with next to no head. Whatever herbs are in it do change the aroma and taste a little, although there’s nothing special about this at all. Has a notable strength.
