3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 cirzen (1) - FRANCE - JUL 15, 2011 does not count
I actually quite like this. Yes it’s sweet, but for this kind of cheap beer there’s a decent hop nose, albeit verging on the slightly tinny. Compared to the standard 8.6 blond, it’s got an actual profile. It’s aiming to be the flavoursome brother of the cheap mass produced dutch beer and given those aims, I think it succeeds magnificently. Just don’t expect subtlety or refinement.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 luttonm (960) - Belgrade, SERBIA - APR 1, 2012
Export bottle of 250ml found in Sarajevo. Pours nicely rich with welcoming aroma of sharp hops and malts. This is a preofessional beer with the right boxes checked. But it is not my style ... Let’s us have a style that is a strong beer but not just because of alc. A diversity of intents about what we can present as strong lagers. Some for the holidays, some to taste better with loads of additional ingredients. They all fall apart somehow, though you can see that Bavaria 8.6 Gold is a good beer. But id does not do anything new or passionately. Still lovely but wish it did something the surprised even one of us.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Pinball (8562) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2010
clear golden, smooth large offwhite head.
Nice hoppy exotic fruity aroma, malty base.
flavor is most of all strange. exotic fruity, ripe yellow fruity, sugary or honey sweet base instead of alts, alc, metal and hops bitterness in the end.
So uch honey, exotic fruits and ripe yellow fruits that it gets cloying. really strange beer. Will probably be best if served very cold.
