Can (BB 10/2006)
Dark amber, creamy off-white head. Dry, woody, oaky, malty aroma, a bit of toffee. Medium-bodied. Sweet toffeeish flavor. Sticky, burnt sugar in the aftertaste plus some alcoholic touch. Drinkable bock-like lager, maybe just a bit too sweet.

This beer surprised me a bit, I was expecting less. Flavor was decent, but a bit harsh. A bit too sweet I think, I wouldn´t drink this again unless I was at a party, or needed a quick buzz.

Amber coloured with thin off white head. Aroma is malty and almost port like. Taste is sweet and malty. Chemical finish. Strong and sweet, not really crap, but not worth having again.

Silver can bought at Carrefour. A malty strong lager with a smooth sweetness and a hint of milky fat roastiness. Alcohol sometimes shines through, but not too many chemicals. Quite tasty if drunk very cold.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 RichardGretton (3757) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2004
Reddish amber beer with little head, a vineous, malty but mainly alcohol based aroma. The flavour has a dry chemical finish, the bulk of it is malt. Overall a very, very sweet strong beer, much like a barley wine.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 nigos (623) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2004
Red hue with a white foamy head. Came in a ’metal bottle’ . Non-descript nose with a hint of beer. Sweetish bland taste with a hint of banana. Like Bavaria 8.6 but a different colour and a little weaker in taste.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 boto (1581) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 30, 2004
50cl can: This is an amber beer. Clear in color with a HUGE off-white head. The beer is very fizzy. Lots of bubbles clinging to the glass-very much soda like in its carbonation. After the head finally died down I got a whiff: It is sweet. A sugary kind of sweet. Slight caramel to the nose. The sugariness come through in the taste also. No hops to speak of. The sweetness hides the alcohol. Really not that good at all. It’s even too sweet for a buzz beer.
