Reddish amber beer with little head, a vineous, malty but mainly alcohol based aroma. The flavour has a dry chemical finish, the bulk of it is malt. Overall a very, very sweet strong beer, much like a barley wine.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 nigos (623) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2004
Red hue with a white foamy head. Came in a ’metal bottle’ . Non-descript nose with a hint of beer. Sweetish bland taste with a hint of banana. Like Bavaria 8.6 but a different colour and a little weaker in taste.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 boto (1661) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 30, 2004
50cl can: This is an amber beer. Clear in color with a HUGE off-white head. The beer is very fizzy. Lots of bubbles clinging to the glass-very much soda like in its carbonation. After the head finally died down I got a whiff: It is sweet. A sugary kind of sweet. Slight caramel to the nose. The sugariness come through in the taste also. No hops to speak of. The sweetness hides the alcohol. Really not that good at all. It’s even too sweet for a buzz beer.
