drpimento (2153) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 1, 2007
from a metal "bottle" - poured with a small head, but does have lace. Color is brown with some red highlights. Aroma is very malty and sweet, but picked up a fleeting waft of bleach. Ditto for taste. Distinct alcohol warming. Unusually thin for the sweetness. Two dimensional. Well carbonated tho. Sweet finish.

Canned. Ruby coloured. Notes of candy and berries in the aroma. Very sweet flavour. Thin and artificial with notes of metal and alcohol. Rather unpleasant.

maeib (8574) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2007
Canned. A dark amber coloured beer with a small beige coloured head. The aroma is sweet and jammy. Fruity and alcoholic. The taste is sweet with caramel notes. Berry fruits and alcohol. Warming. I cannot understand the snobbery about this beer. It is really good, and is a doppelbock by any other name.

sayravai (4667) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 19, 2007
(Canned) Clear, dark red color with a medium, bubbly-frothy, tanned head. Mild aroma with slightly acidic malt, and no hops. Extremely sweet and quite artificially strawberry-fruity flavor with toffeeish malt, and reasonably hidden alcohol underneath. Sticky-sugary, surprisingly thin palate with medium carbonation. The Dutch prefer sweeter beers, but I don’t think very many of them can actually stand this alcopop-like crap.

Bottle. Reddish brown with off white soapy head. Metallic aroma with malt and grass. Burnt malt flavour with caramel, sweetness, licorice and a light bitterness. Nice flavour but weak aroma.

pilsnerrogge (2453) - Finspång, SWEDEN - SEP 26, 2006
[canned] Dark amber colour. Large head. Aroma is sweet with notes of marzipan and alcohol. Flavour is very sweet, the alcohol is fairly well hidden. Not as bad as expected but still a shitty beer.
