3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sipping a can of this whilst writing.
OK this is a mass produced brew but it’s not as bad as that.
It has a very nice colour with a nice dense foamy head.. OK it doesn’t have the complexity of a Begian brew and it’s a tad too sugary but as industrial beers go I think this is drinkable. Far better than the other brews from the same stable!

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear orange - reddish beer, nice stable foam head, with a standard carbonation. At first glance look pretty good, but the first aroma perceived is quite strong in alcohol. When is tasted, the visual appereance actually is confirmed by the flavor, sweet roast malts, with a extreme sweetness, which is not too bad. The finish is clear and crisp. It require te be served cold.

Prozirna crvena boja. Poprilično jaka piva, ali alkohol ne dolazi u prvi plan, što je dobro. Ima i neki okus karamele. Nije nešto posebno.

Pours a clear coppery red color, topped with a medium sized white head. Aroma is malty, caramel presence with some faint fruity notes. Taste is sweet and malty, caramel feel and alcohol presence. Boozy and not that nice, though could maybe be passable.

50cl can at our camp site in France. Somewhat hazy reddish brown with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbobation. Medium sweetness with some bitter tones. Cherries, strawberries, malts, caramel and straw. A strong fruity pilsner, not too good.

Pending the first sip, I thought I was going to hate this. It’s actually way better than I expected it to be but by no means a fantastic beer. Burnt red is the colour and the liquids lacing languishes quite a long time after the contents diminish. Faint hints of noble hopping coupled with sweet caramel maltiness, raisin, vanilla and toffee make this feel a bit like a Doppelbock. The real downside to this brew is the unflinching sweetness, cloying until the last drop. This might be better set against a salty or bitter backdrop but on its own it is almost painfully cloying. Still, here I am in Summer enjoying it so, f**k me.
