Tall can from Chinese nightshop in Amsterdam. Golden body. Grainy and sweet nose. Overpowering sweet taste. Not bad actually for a malt liquor, I must say.

Can 0,5ltr: Very sweet high alcohol Pilsener thats not 8.6% but 7,9% alcohol due French law lowered in alcohol. But the beer stays sweet, very sweet.

Can, alc. 7.9 % (BB 11/2007)
Golden color, small white head. Sweet papery, cardboardish, malty aroma. Apple-like sweet beer, almost sugary, ok malt profile, but more or less this is for getting drunk, not to enjoy.

Can: Golden colour, heavy alcohol content is well hidden. Potato? Corn? somewhere in between.

Appearance: Inch head reducing to a film of foam. Golden straw that is clear. Moderate fizzing. Smell: Not a strong smell, nothing chemical. Slight malty smell. Taste: Slight sweetness and a strong but not over-powering alcohol taste. A bit of bitterness mostly countering the alcohol and sweetness. Some maltiness also. Mouthfeel: Moderate lightness become creamy in the mouth. Drinkability: Not bad. Rochefort beats this of course. Didn’t detect any chemical overtones. Perhaps they have process control issues.
