Very sweet flavor, but the aroma is so god damn fantastic, that is must be a MUST for beer enjoyers. I tried it at a hotel, and I will never forget this impressively refreshing bottle. Try it if the possibility appears out of the blue.

Poured in a tall glass frm a small can of 330 ml. Pours a golden yellow coloured beer, very clean. White soapy head, 2 fingers. Smell is of malts. Nice taste, bitter that leaves you with as sweetness.  thin in body and medium carbonated. The 7.9 alcohol is there, but not so noticeable, it’s just says "Hi" and leaves, to mind its own bussiness. On your liver.

Formou um bom creme, pouco denso, de bolhas grandes e que se desfez rapidamente. A cor é muito bonita. De um âmbar transparente. Quanto ao aroma, tenho a dizer que é bastante doce, licoroso. Lembra a mel e flores. Perfumado. Já ganhou dois pontos até aqui. Doce e intensa. O álcool não é gritante, não agride. Novamente o mel se manifesta. O malte também se faz presente. Saborosa.

Servir gelada.

Nicest beer I’d had out of a can for a while. Sweet aroma, with malt toffee overtones. Can taste the alcohol, but probably wouldn’t have guessed 7.9%.

Bottle. Nice golden beer, good malty aroma and some fruity flavor. Little bitterness at finish. Cerveja Dourada, com aroma maltado e um sabor frutado, um pouco amargo no final. Boa cerveja!!

Can 500ml from Grand Cellars. Nice flavours from the malt and yeast. Aromas of honey and butter, and caramel. Taste is sweet, with sourness, and light bitterness. Palate is oily, and medium-to-full bodied. Dark yellow, with a frothy head.

Bottle 0,25L. A bit darker, clear, golden colour with frothy white head. Fruity aroma with some notes of caramel and alcohol. Taste is somwhere between sweet and bitter, alcohol is present, too. Medium to full body, oily texture and soft carbonation. For all those who mess the name of the beer with it’s ABV: this beer was brewed for the first time at the date 8.6.1986 and that’s why it has that name. It has nothing to do with it’s ABV.

Pours a golden-orangish color with a decent foamy head. Spicy and fresh on the nose. It is the first malt liquor I’ve tried, but it seems to me that it is pretty much like a european strong lager. It tastes sweet malts, a lot of grain and cereal. It is actually not as strong as I thought it would be (I could drink a lot of these). Good palate... I really like this beer, just don’t get why it is rated so low. Overall, sweet full-bodied malty beer.
