Jan 13, 2007 Bottle, 7.5%. Dark red/brown colour. Small head. Nicely malty, dusty and peppery flavour. Creamy mouthfeel.

Aug 15, 2006 500ml bottle: poured brown with a touch of red. Very little head and slightly off white. Big malty aroma upon opening the bottle. Fialry large and distinct caramel flavor. Light chocolate. Light tea flavor. Medium body. Rich tasting with light bitterness in the finish. Good beer.

Jul 6, 2006 I had already gone through three other 500 ml offerings from this brewer before I got to this one, so my taste buds may have gotten a little numb. From a bottle. Deep rich amber coloer tending almost toward brown with a big tan head. Nose of dark malts with carmel and chocolate. Very rich mouthfeel, and some powerful flavors. These folks really know how to make beer. Slightly bitter finish.

Apr 30, 2006 Malty aroma with milk chocolate. medium to full bodied. Very malty flavor. Roast, caramel and chocolate. Raisin. Meaty beer, you can almost chew it. Not too sweet. Likeable and powerful.
