Bottle@tasting (2005), 30cl. Head: lots of beige colored foam. Color: ruby red. Aroma: metal, stale. Taste: sweet, some bitter, some metal. Palate: CO2, lasting. Overall: ok.

From the tap in a restaurant. I had a cold so could not smell the sweet aroma’s that good. But color was nice transparant dark brown with red shine. Taste was mild and sweet, a very good taste to go with a diner. Flavors of caramel.

50 cl. can @ home. Copper brown with a huge tan head. Aroma of roasted malts. Not overly sweet, slightly bitter decent bock.

Like all bokbieren bit too sweet for my taste. Very fruity, nice amber color, sticking slightly dark foam. Taste dissapeares rather quick.

Dark amber with a thick, off white head. Malty with fruity tones. Malt, fruit and bitterness. Medium body with a balanced, bitter finish.

Well, what to write... On tap at one pub in Maastricht. dark brown color with small beige head. Sweet aroma with fruit and caramel. Taste pretty the same. One of the worst Bocks I ever drunk.

Die Schaumkrone hält mittelmäßig, farblich ist es rötlich. Geschmacklich leicht alkoholisch, ziemlich künstlich-chemisch, etwas Zucker-Sirup artiges, im Nachgeschmack bleibt es klebrig. Fazit: Schmeckt wie billig im Labor gemixt!

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2012 Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Nice deep dark red color, decent sized white head. Average smell and taste of malts, some caramel, lightly sweet. Low low medium carbo, a bit low bodied.

I think this is one of the worst bock beers. This one tastes and smell very wort-like, very sweet and not very bitter.

Würziger, passend malziger Antrunk. Diese ist durch Hopfen und leichte Wässrigkeit nicht übermäßig intensiv, wirkt aber auch zu keiner Zeit zu mild. Zum Mittelteil wird das Bier dann aber doch milder, das Malz ist aber noch führend, keine Frage. Ein alkoholischer Hauch ist im Hintergrund spürbar, dazu leider etwas wässrig. Danach lebt das Malz noch einmal auf und wird etwas schokoladig, sehr cremig und vollmundig, sogar etwas stechend. Dazu passt der angehaucht bittere Abgang. 11/10/11/11/8/11
