Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s light gold with a small head. The nose is pretty faint. Maybe a bit of lemon, knackered cereal. Similar flavor. Some apple, a bit of honey, paper. Really light, fizzy. Overall, poor.

Bottle, from Lidl. Pale gold, thin short lived white head and low condition. Gentle sweet grain and trace hops in the nose, quite thin in the mouth with a dominant but harsh hop bitterness, briefly lingering in the finish

440ml can. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is lemon, with hints of fish and the fart you’d have a morning after a curry. Taste is pretty much just carbonated water. Slight hint of lemon.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2013 66cl bottle from Aldi. Pale straw with a ring of white head; grassy hop aroma; grassy taste with a sweet cereal body; and a slightly cloying finish. Better than anticipated!

Can. Pale gold with a rocky white head. Aromas are corn and tin with cardboard and pepper. Weak lemon with dust. Flavours are corn and grain steeped in water - which is obvious but too obvious in this instance. Thin lemon and metal from the can with a peppery finish. As watery as the mineral water itis made from.

As stated below, the notable thing about this beer is the amount of body it has for the abv. That aside, flavour is all malt and a touch sweet. Acceptable but unremarkable drinking lager

What is the point of this? They boast about using their own mineral water. I’d rather drink it without the other ingredients. Pointless. (I bought it to keep my father in law amused and keep him away from the good stuff. Perhaps that is how they should market it...Bavaria, to keep visitors away from the good stuff.)
