0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours a boring fizzy yellow with a very short lived fizzy white head. Aroma is corn, adjunct and malt extract. Taste not much better. Seriously, complete drain pour!

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Originally rated July 2005. This south-american brew smells like skunk as soon as you pop open the cap. Maybe this one was sitting in the store I bought it, for a long time. The glass is clear. Pours a pale yellow colour with a white foam-cream head that leaves lacing. Can’t smell much other then the mild skunk that is left after breathing. The mouthfeel is quite good though. Very creamy. The taste is very smooth, not really bitter, but still a bit of edge. Grain malt stays in the aftertaste. Much better then Corona.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Straight pour from 350ml can to small tumbler; freshness date of October 31, 2011 printed on underside of can (23/10/11). I know the style here says German Pilsener, but c’mon. This is very much an AAL.
Appearance (2/5): Clear yellow-gold body with one finger of just off-white, coarsely carbed head that diminishes quickly to a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Body’s actually piss yellow, kind of like ½ of Michigan, BC, or USC’s colors.
Smell (5/10): Pretty insubstantial, but there’s some mild sweetness and fresh vegetable aromas happening; no hop presence to speak of.
Taste (6/10): There’s a brief, mild wave of bitterness mixed with the crisp flavor of cold lager, but after that comes a moderate sweetness kind of like fresh sweet corn on the cob. Some light bready notes. Yeast is pretty neutral, and this doesn’t taste spoiled or skunky at all. Always a plus for this style.
Mouthfeel (4/5): Relatively lush, actually. There’s a mixture of coarse and fine bubbles that quickly spread throughout your mouth, but then subside not TOO, too quickly to the loose, watery body.
Overall (13/20): Call me crazy, but for an AAL this isn’t so bad. Yes, it’s cheap, yellow, fizzy, and adjuncted to hell; it’s also light, refreshing, inoffensive, and somewhat more substantial than other Brazilian AALs.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tried as A Marca Bavaria and label stated 4.5%ABV. Poured as a pale golden color with quickly dissipating white head with virtually no lacing. Aroma was of grain. Taste was lightly sweet with an undesirable bitter aftertaste. Overall, similar to most other macrobrew lagers.

Bouteille. Bière blonde importée pour rivaliser avec les produits mexicains. Bière qui n’a pas vraiment de goût. Légère en bouche. Une bière de soif pour les journée chaude.

A "premium" swill, but not such good value for the $, as least in Canada. I rather enjoyed drinking this one, probably the best beer I’ve had from the "Latino" part of the world. Tasted quite nice.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This will be the last beer I review from swill fest 2006 so I guess this would be the third worst beer from the menu. The beer is a pale straw color, with a small head that vanishes faster then a baked ham in front of Oprah. Beer had a slight skunk smell and maybe some grainy malt. I found the taste to be rather stale, and reminded me of apple juice that you left out on the counter for a couple of days. The beer has a heavily carbonated feel very fizzy on the tung. This is better then most south American beers but like most others crushing a whole lime into the top of the bottle will do wonders to cover up the actual taste of this beer and make it more enjoyable."

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
First of all, there are better beers out there in this style, but this one is not that bad at all - it’s just what you would expect. The skunky smell isn’t that unappealing because it’s the expected aroma, but the lack of smell is dissapointing. Ok white head that survived for a bit in the clear diluted straw coloured beer. No suprise with the flavour: grainy, a bit yeasty and quite light. Mouthfeel was a little to harsh. Mild bitter after taste and some slight sour finish. A highly advertised brew by Molson - I’d think the advertisement has failed miserably with the general public once they figured out it was overpriced and boring.
