mcberko (118), British Columbia, Canada Oct 14, 2009 Pours golden yellow. Pretty weak metallic taste, with mild hops. Not recommended. bulldogops (153), Alberta, Canada Oct 9, 2009 500mL Can. 5%. Foam was abundant, a frothy white head with staying power, would make for a good beer photo shoot. Unfortunately, no picture can describe the vile taste of this beer. Aroma is brut, apples and dry dry grains. Taste is similar, but with skunky metalic hops and sour apples mixed in with the barley, grainy taste. What am I going to do with the other 5? Parket (214), Bruges, Belgium Sep 21, 2009 can 50 cc from Dutch Supermarket, yellow colour and average too fastly disappearing white head. Smell: rotten hops, grainy. Taste: bitter, hoppy, surprisingly not unpleasantly but very average. No special tastes within. cosmicpolly (26), Bruges, Belgium Sep 21, 2009 This beer truly stinks like the gutter. But fortunately it tastes better: sweet, bitter finish, bit grainy. There are worse pilsener than this, but pity the beer stinks a bit. Fratto (662), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 19, 2009 Six pack from the grocery store. Skunky and lacking in flavor. Not really surprised. thepegjett (92), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Sep 1, 2009 A - yeasty and fruity.
A - light golden.
F - Sweet with a bitter finish
P - alright for a lighter beer, but not too much there. fidelis83 (707), Clinton, Iowa, USA Aug 11, 2009 Pours very pale gold with a 2 finger fluffy white head that has good retention. Aroma is grass, sweet malt, toasted grain, wet limestone, raw grain, some grass and a little bready lager yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, grassy hops, woody notes, half baked white bread, some toast and a nice mildly bitter finish. Not bad for the style, pretty ho-hum, try it if you love Heineken I guess. Palate is thin, dry and nicely carbonated. gunnar (486), Sandnes, Norway Jul 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours pale with a large frothy white head. Hoppy aroma. Fresh fruity taste, nice long bitter end. Not bad.
