| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Clear straw pour, no head or lace. Sweet skunky aroma. Sweet, corny, and grainy with a pleasant European green bottle skunk. A bit of metal and a thickish, slightly phlegmy mouthfeel. Good, like a bold Heineken.

Blonde, golden, beer with medium white head (becomes little soon), some bubbles. Light sweet smell, light malty also, but overall not much smell in the beer. Taste is grainy, also in the finish and watery. This is the first pils of Holland without a bad taste! madmitch76 (526), , Essex, England

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 9, 2009 500mL Can. 5%. Foam was abundant, a frothy white head with staying power, would make for a good beer photo shoot. Unfortunately, no picture can describe the vile taste of this beer. Aroma is brut, apples and dry dry grains. Taste is similar, but with skunky metalic hops and sour apples mixed in with the barley, grainy taste. What am I going to do with the other 5?
