2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Asda. 80p. Clear, straw colour. Lasting, white head. Very sweet, grainy malt. Taste is grainy sweet. Some dryness. Pretty grim, thick, synthetic palate and finish. No particular redeeming features, other than the fact it’s as cheap as water.

It is a common lager, without any special atribute but good colour and taste anyway, good to drink in a hot day. It is one more lager indeed.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I was not on top of my game when I was being led about the city center by the wife, after traveling all night and attempting to normalize my interior clock. I needed to sit down and collect myself. This is surprising since I was sitting on the plane for so long. I t seems that worldwide, the name Bavaria dooms the product to mediocrity. Thick bright white head that dissipates quickly. Some pleasant fluffy lacing though. Moderate to medium gold in the glass. Thin body, tinny and corn ridden. It must be the wheat they mention that gives this flavor. I was slowly revived as we sat in the most touristy of cafes to watch all the stoned tourists walk and stumble past us at Dam Square. Not a great beer, but it was there when I needed consoling and it prevented me from dying muddy drunk in the street. (this last sentence is for the movie buffs that know me...its not the big Lebowski) Beer mail me if you know the answer.
