3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 berkshirejohn (2834) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2007 66cl bottle from Morrisons. Looks like a typical lager; good aroma of fresh grass; crisp and fresh in the mouth a notable bitterness; short clean finish. Far better than the other widely exported mass market Dutch lagers.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Grovlam (4106) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2007
Can. Head was spare to small with a white slightly frothy sparkle. Spare lacing. Clear slightly sparkling body. Color was pale yellow. Aroma was light hay, straw, grass and cardboard. Light bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light notes of bitterness. Short finish.

Pours a pale golden color w/ a shallow spritzy froth that reduces to a thin lace. Aromas of malt and grain w/ a defined skunkiness. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers creates a cotton texture. Flavors are basic malts and grains but it does have the tell tale bitter finish of a Pils. However, not a recommendable specimen.
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 sliffy (2035) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 21, 2007
Bottle: Clear gold with a white head. Aroma, it has that distinct imported green glass smell to it. I won’t elaborate, we’ve all been there. Flavor, tastes like nothing but that skunk in the room. So glad I picked this up.

Gold pour, lightly hopped, Malty, on the sweetish side, but very drinkable, average brew.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BeerBelcher (972) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 14, 2007
I expected this green-bottled beer to be skunky (it wasn’t). Still, it seemed a bit thick for the style, and as far as "green bottle Euro lagers" go, I really prefer Pilsner Urquell.
It poured a handsome golden color with decent head formation, which left no lacing. It smelled good; not in a "big beer" sense, but it was light and refreshing. Taste and mouthfeel were not all that great though. It was thicker than I felt it should be, and not really refreshing at all. Taste was not off-putting, but seemed syrupy almost, which was not was I expecting (a light and refreshing lager).
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Bart (2332) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 10, 2007
Golden yellow coloured, with an average white head, and some carbonation. Hoppy grassy and malty aroma; medium body. Finish is little bitter hoppy. Medium premium Lager.
