Oct 31, 2004 330 ml green bottle labelled Bavaria Original Brew. Pale golden colour with a mostly diminishing creamy and fizzy white head. Grassy and perfumed aroma. Starts with sweet buttery corn flavour finishing with an unpleasant oily bitterness. Light bodied and fizzy.

Oct 24, 2004 Blatantly not from Bavaria but it does tastes a little bit like a Helles. Nice soft malt but it’s a bit milky. Not much hop going on but I guess that’s the style. Not bad.

Oct 21, 2004 In the bottle. Smelled skunky, poured a golden pale yellow with awhite fluffy head. The head did not last too long. Odd thing was that there was no skunky taste. Mild bitterness and standard pilsner malt content. This would not hold up to most German pilsners. Very inexpensive 12-pack from the grocery store.

Pale brown; average fuzzy head. Slightlly grassy but nothing much else in terms of flavour or aroma. The aftertaste left by the the grassiness is, however, quite pleasant, IMHO.
Goes well with a full stomach and a long night of sport-watching.

Sep 30, 2004 Well... definitely not a pilsner, at least in taste, I agree with the rating. "Family brewed"... hmph, indeed... but what does that mean? Like that it says "canned in holland", never saw that verb before on labelling. Can’t complain too much about the color... nice orange, upward flowing torrants of bubbles... but the taste... pleasing, but you have to get used to it. A twinge sweet on the afterplate. I can drink this beer, but not entirely satisfying.

Sep 22, 2004 Pale gold with a bit more life in the color than the Tuborg I had just prior. The head is fuzzy and dry looking, and lasts for a bit. The flavor is definitely on the adjuncty side, but not offensive. The flavor is soft, a good bit of rice, but not in a foul way. Very low bitterness and very low hop aroma. Very soft on the palate.
