hAl (10), Netherlands May 21, 2004 Commenly known as ’headache’beer in the netherlands I would not recommend this beer in larger quantities. A bit sweet, dusty smell. Not overly tasty so drinkable for all but not something you’d ever come back for more. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Apr 28, 2004 Got a six-pack of cans. Large white head that has decent staying power and lots of lacing. A nice gold color. Aroma has corn sweetness. Flavor is fairly sweet with corn and a little touch of hops. Overall very bland. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA Apr 21, 2004 Not really excited about this one. Watery, not much flavor. Thats about all I really have to say. Nothing special. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA Apr 19, 2004 Updated: Aug 12, 2004Ok, you know how when you rate Coors, Bud Light, et al., that you say they are "watery". They are 10w30 oil compared to this piece of shit. Color is light gold w/ average head. There is no aroma, and almost no tsatse. I don't mean "no taste" like "well, it isn't very stout" I mean it like "my God, they finally perfected beer flavored water". Taste is the most bland bland that I have every tasted. It ALMOST has a beer taste in the finish. This is the worst beer in the world. PERIOD. The brewmaster should be yanked out into the street and beaten with his own recipie. AVoid this at all cost. UNCCTF (464), Kannapolis, North Carolina, USA Apr 14, 2004 This beer is plain as can be, but it's clean and not watered down. I slightly prefer it to Heineken. wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Apr 8, 2004 Bottle. There are really selling this beer cheap. 4$ a sixer. Thin white head. Has that stale German pilsener aroma of hops and no malt. Taste is okay. Bit watery, but has some crispness. Rather disappointing otherwise. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 6, 2004 Can. Sweet malt and mild floral aroma. Really to sweet smelling. Dark straw color with a off white head and rings of lace. Realy sweet malt liqour flavors. Hints of alcohol late in the gulp. Another brew to boil brats in. Kalli (474), Falun, Sweden Apr 4, 2004 From a bottle. Surprisingly dark, somewhat like a Bohemian pils. Head fades fast though.
Cardboardy and malty aroma. Bit watery, yet the malts feel somewhat heavy. Some hops, but none of these factors impress. Not even mediocre. Most better known mainstream lagers outpace this,
