Uglyradio (773), Greenville, South Carolina, USA Jul 28, 2003 This one pours a clear, typically golden yellow lager color with a small, bubbly white head. The head dissipates and the beer has a big skunk aroma at first, but the skunkiness recedes revealing some mild hop floral notes and a bit of malty sweetness. It has a light body with moderate carbonation. The flavor is slightly hoppy up front, but everything is lost in the bland, watery finish. It has some slightly sweet corn notes against the traditional malt notes. Mediocre at best. CapFlu (3480), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jul 21, 2003 (Bottle) Pale yellow with thin white head. Fizzy pils nose with a slight malt taste. Below average... AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 16, 2003 Had in a can in Cuba. It tasted bitter and was straw colored. Really not anything to write home about. But, it was nice because it came in big cans. ARMed (485), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 13, 2003 Refreshing but that is about it. Drank this beer in a jewelry store in St. Maaraten while buying diamonds. When shopping for diamonds in St. Maartan, ask for a beer and you will receive. Bought a nice pair of 1 carat diamond earings for my wife. Not sure the beer warranted such a purchase. uvajed (112), Ravenna, Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2003 How boring. Not a bad beer on a hot day, but nothing exciting. I don't regret trying this rather generic "pilsener", though I doubt I will again. jerohen (1602), Bussum, Netherlands Jul 2, 2003 Updated: Dec 14, 2003Clear golden colour, medium head. Skunky aroma. Flavour is ok, bit hoppy, not too sweet, pleasant bitterness. Typical pilsener. Really, really cheap. Frank (1064), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 1, 2003 Piss yellow. No head. Aroma of wilting hay. Semi-sweet. Some hops in the finish. Terrible. UnionMade (621), Connecticut, USA Jul 1, 2003 I was really happy with this beer. Light in all ways, with a clean hop character, nice and sharp. Tasted great on the beach. Kind of like a good version of Heineken. Yes I actually did bring a glass out onto the sand with me. It was great because everyone thought i was way over the top.
