Yep, this is what I love about Europe - you can drive 5 hours to drink beer in Bavaria OR you can name your really really terrible beer Bavaria and save the trip. I think I’ll start naming new beers after States... like Arkansas - then you’ll KNOW its really terrible before you even try it...

500ml can, poured into a lager glass. Bought this at the grocery store as a cheap beer to use for a beer can chicken recipe, drank half the can before it went up the bird’s butt. Blah. Pale watery yellow colour, heavily carbonated. Metallic, mineral flavour, faint notes of lemon and grain on the nose. Overall a pretty character-less beer, nowhere near the best pilsners I’ve had. Did make for a nice, moist chicken though...

Metal. Synthetic. Stale water. Weird finish. Appealing urine colour. It’s beer Jim, but not as we know it. I should say that this cost me 88p for 500ml so beggars and choosers and all that.

In the can @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Golden yellow appearance with a big white head. The aroma is bland, slightly metallic, some lemon, husky grain. Moderately sweet. Low bitterness. Twangy, lemon, chemical flavor. Not very good.

BOTTLE 50CL. Brewed in Russia. Pale yellow, white frothy head. Very bland aroma with hints of apple pie malts, metallic. The taste is dry, almost devoid of malts, some harsh bitterness with light astringency in the finish. Yuck.

25cl bottle, as Babaria Premium Lager (5,0% ABV). Clear yellow, big white head, dissipates quick and leaves no lacings. Very faint aroma of grass, pilsner malt, metal. Taste about the same, with a very wattery feel. Slight crispiness. Light body, high carbo. Forgettable.

As most industrial pilseners: without aroma, almost without specifications in flavours, bad, watery taste with to high carbonation and low bitterness.

A plastic bottle at jaarbeurs Utrecht. Taste is watery, grassy. Somehow I think there?s an overall weird taste in this beer which makes it really unenjoyable.

Clear golden color with medium white head and high carbonation. Aroma of regular Pale Lager, corny, cupboardy, with some hops and cereals. Taste follows the aroma, very soft, with cereals and a slightly malty background.

Not much to say about this beer. I’d say its the average shwaggy lager. Got it once on an airplane to Costa Rica. International flights served beer for free at that time, so I took it over bud. I may have tried it once again while down there, but remember it was below average overall for a beer. Was a bit skunky, but nothing major, as I found it drinkable. They have it here in the grocery store, but doubt I will ever buy it....prefer Heineken or Pils.

Alone at home. Clear blond colored beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Malty hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is sweet wattery bitter.
