Golden yellow coloured, with an average white head, and some carbonation. Hoppy grassy and malty aroma; medium body. Finish is little bitter hoppy. Medium premium Lager.

Light bright gold, large foamy head. Strong skunky aroma. Flavor is mildly skunky with some decent clean malt and light bitter finish. Definite vegetal/cooked corn flavors develop. Uck.

It’s a pilsener to drink if you are not able to drink any better beer. Smells not good, but tastes a little bit better. Sticky aftertaste.

Coming from the Southern part of the Netherlands I’m obligated to say that I love this beer :) Honest rating: just another mass produced pilsener. Nothing wrong, nothing spectacular.

Bottle. Pours pale with a large frothy white head. Hoppy aroma. Fresh fruity taste, nice long bitter end. Not bad.

<!-- i -->Bottled:<!-- /i --><!-- br --> Light bitter, herbal aroma. Pale golden color. Quite ok pilsener. Light spicy, bitter pilsener. A bit sourly, not very impressive all in all.

Pigfoot (2266) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2004
Appearance: crystal-clear yellow color, with a smallish white head. Aroma: sweet and cornish, what there is of it, typical lagery smell, with only the faintest whiffs of citrus, flowers. On palate: sweet, clean, brisk, and actually kind of tasty. Light body. Absolutely no finish, it vanishes as soon as you realized that it was there! Texture, what there is, dies quickly, too. A simple sweetness resides in the back of the throat, until it croaks, too. Sweetness continues, to the point of unpleasantness. I do like sweetness in a beer, yes, but only when accompanied by hops, malt, body, texture, taste, etc. Mouthfeel, body, everything is quite forgettable. That serves some people fairly well, but not I. Not that bad, actually, just not very good. And, lucky me, I chose a pint can to sample. Wee, wee, wee, all the way home!

An ordinary pilsener.
