Grainy and rough, the PBR of Rotterdam, I presume. Oakes rating really sums this beer up perfectly... Current sample is lightstruck and offensive. Perfect potion to pour onto the mosquito attempting to crawl up the side of the sink.

Saaz aroma, fizzy, hoppy, yellow. Keeps a decent head. This is called ’Bavaria, Holland Beer/Original Brew’ here in California.

Can at home. Pale golden color, thin white head. Weak grainy aroma, slightly corny as well. Watery malty corny taste, slightly bitter. Not interesting.

A quite nice continental Lager. Satnds up well against your other standards- Stella, Hieneken, etc. I see it on sale around here all the time, sometimes for as little as $8 for 12. Great "pool" beer.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a fluffy white head that dissipates to a think white film. Lots of small bubbles shoot towards the head of the beer. Nose is light malts with some straw and hay characteristics. Flavor is fuller then imagined and contains some light malt, syrupy qualities, straw and corn like matter.

Six pack from the grocery store. Skunky and lacking in flavor. Not really surprised.
