What can I say, this is a skunky watered down version of Heineken. It lacks aroma, flavor and it has a very lacking palate!

Golden yellow large white fizzy head disappears quickly. Poor aroma of adjuncts sweet malts in aroma and flavour. Syrupy palate with sweet overly cloying flavour and fowel!

Gonna have to disagree with many of the raters on this one. It was actually much better than I expected. Enjoyed it much more than the Dinkelacker I had last night, which was overly bitter. The Bavaria poured a clear gold, aroma is very pilsner - malt and hops with just a slight sour undertone. Flavor was a subtle blend of malt and hops with a touch of sweetness. A touch of hop bitterness in the finish, slightly tart. Altogether a decent brew. A notch above Heinekin in my opinion. Probably still overpriced, but as I got a single for $1.28, I’m not complaining.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 cking (1175) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - JUN 1, 2007
Rated 1/20/07: Blah, weak lager lacking adequate malt content. Grassy aroma slightly appealing. Average pale gold pour, medium white head, moderate lacing. Light shallow mouthfeel, finishes with a weird emptiness. Flavor is virtually non-existent, really lacking in the malt department I could however detect some mild hop bitterness. Overall a guzzler perhaps, may be refreshing after a long hot day but rather weak.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 16, 2011
Originally rated August 2006. Bought a single can at the LCBO on Bank street. Pours a clean golden colour with a decent tiny-bubbled cream white head. Stays quite a while and lacing is thick and all-around the glass. Very lively carbonation that is all-over. The aromas are of grain and malt. Crisp mouthfeel. Mild sweetness in the taste at first, then very light bitterness in the finish with a little dry aftertaste. Refreshing brew with a good look, but no grass in the taste and nose make this one a regular lager, and not a pilsner (as the name refers to).

330 ml green bottle labelled Bavaria Original Brew. Pale golden colour with a mostly diminishing creamy and fizzy white head. Grassy and perfumed aroma. Starts with sweet buttery corn flavour finishing with an unpleasant oily bitterness. Light bodied and fizzy.
