A poor example of Dutch brewing. Are they trying to copy thin-flavored American swill?

330ml bottle from The Beer Store. Pours pale to golden yellow with a sparkly effervescence. Quite highly carbonated but not sharp on the tongue. Head is white and long lasting with nice lacing. Aroma of bread and hops. Nice malt and hop balance throughout, with as much or more body than most lagers sold in this country. Definitely better than it’ fellow Dutch lagers Heineken or Grolsch commonly found here. Priced the same as the common macro lagers ie: Canadian, Blue etc so I think I will grab this one next time instead.

This beer is very common at festivals/concerts, I guess its because there’s not much to hate about this beer, unfortunately there isn’t much to like about it either, like Amstel this one similarly has almost no taste at all, almost like water sometimes. Great for your thirst, pretty bad beer if you want to enjoy it though.

My bottle says Bavaria Holland, not Pilsner. I like it! Simple, tasty, very clean finish. No palette.

light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, no aftertaste it’s like water. But gives a headache.

Light malt flavor. Light to moderate hoppy aroma which seemed a little grassy. Head was average sized and frothy white that had decent longevity. Light to medium light body with medium carbonation. Light bitterness and slightly sweet finish.

Commenly known as ’headache’beer in the netherlands I would not recommend this beer in larger quantities. A bit sweet, dusty smell. Not overly tasty so drinkable for all but not something you’d ever come back for more.

A acceptable pilsener. But don’t expect a rich flavour. Suitable to drink it cold with a spicy meal.

Upon pouring developed a large white head that was mostly lasting, and a medium yellow hue. The smell was heavily hoppy with a hint of honey. In the palate it had a light to medim body with a slightly oily texture. It had a slightly sweet taste but seemed mostly watered down. This is an easy beer to drink, and I would recommend it if you plan on "tossing back a few."

This is decent European lager. Apperance is nice when poured into a glass. Nice, thick foam and very good lacing. Aroma is OK, but gets pretty sulfury as it warms. Taste is pretty decent and has a nice malty end. I’ve had this one in the green bottle and the 16 oz. can. Gotta say, the green bottles are usually skunked. Prefer this one out of a can.
