1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Radek Kliber (5171) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 10, 2001
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2006 Can. 500ml
Appearance of typical pale lager , perhaps its white top is lightly neater than most of its kind.
Light , grainy aroma , very pale , hint of alcohol.
Thin bodied , sweet palate. Very low hop content. Light yet dry alcohol at finish. First time tried in 90 and I might take another 16 years to have another.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2007 Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), hint of DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Sampled in the same flight with Heineken and Grolsch; this fell in between the two.

Not much flavour or aroma here. Quite clean and refreshing though.

This stuff is pretty foul overall. One of the cheapest lagers found in any corner store in Ireland. Pours a light golden with a fizzy white head turns into nothing. Skunky and metalic hops , slightly herbal and earthy. Flavor is bland and lifeless with some wet cardboard, stale crackery malt, and some more stale hops in the end to skunk it up more and ruin the palate. Gross.

Can. Sweet malt and mild floral aroma. Really to sweet smelling. Dark straw color with a off white head and rings of lace. Realy sweet malt liqour flavors. Hints of alcohol late in the gulp. Another brew to boil brats in.

Can (500ml). "Brewed with Pride" - great, a gay beer. Poured clear pale yellow with a huge, fluffy, bright white, frankly scary looking head - really nasty toxic-looking scum of lace left behind. Very dry, grainy aroma, catnip-like sour hop bitterness, kind of pee-pee/poo-poo as it warms. The taste is pretty nice - soft, grassy clover-like hops blended with simple sweet grainy malt - nothing special, but clean. Very light bodied, softly carbonated, just a whisper of astringency - tastes okay, hold your nose and it’s acceptable. Mostly.
