This beer is plain as can be, but it's clean and not watered down. I slightly prefer it to Heineken.

Tastes like a cross between Becks and Heineken. Thick and fluffy head, with a clear straw color and lots of carbonation, but a acidic aftertaste that made it tough to drink slowly. An average European pils.

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2003) Golden, with not much of a head. Aroma is hoppy with some malt. Not much taste, rather mild and a little boring.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2007 Bottled. A light golden beer with an orange tint. The aroma is quite mellow with some hops and no expected grassiness. The taste is also clean and mellow with a passable hoppiness. Quite pleasant and certainly more enjoyable for me than most beers of this style.

Tastes just like Heineken. Maybe a little lighter and milder flavor but very similar.

On a sunday morning installing some software of my neighbours Cees and Gonnie de Baat I had a Bavaria. It is not the best but it goes.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2007 This was once (quite some time ago) my favorite beer. Why ? It’s foreign, it has a plain but maybe enjoyable taste, and everyone else said it was great. Now I know better. And it seems that those people who were "everyone else" know better too. A passable mass produced pils. Rated Premium Pils accidentaly before... copied the review here and deleted the other one.

I had this on in the same sitting as Hollandia and found them quite similar. A nothing special - lightly hopped lager. Cookie, grain, hay, straw, grapefruit, apple, wine. Quite malt sweet. Slightly dry.
