3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Wizzard99 (32) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 30, 2002
In Australia this beer is very cheap, and with good reason. A very thin beer there is absolutely nothing special about this beer, and I would much prefer to drink my own home brew
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 GG (1980) - NorCal, California, USA - MAY 22, 2006
Well, nothing horrible here and nothing fantastic either. This beer really can swing either way depending on how it was stored. Luckily, I seemed to have gotten a decent bottle because it was quite enjoyable and quite drinkable. I think it’s on the same page as a Tuborg (not quite as tasty) and much better the Heineken, Grolsch, Oranjeboom or other lagers from that region. Aroma was a bit malty with lots of rice coming thru. Appearance was a clear golden with a nice white head. Mouthfeel was a little harsh with average amounts of carbonation and a bit on the thin side. Flavor was grassy, malty, a bit sweet, quite crisp and quite refreshing! If I was throwing a party and wanted to maximize my dollar/beer/quality ratio then this really would do nicely!

I don’t know why they put wheat into it but it smoothens the taste. sweetish hoppy aroma and vel hopped flavour. appearance is por. very pale. but good quality brew. I like it.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 heavy (1466) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 31, 2007
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2007 Another bottle, to edit quite simple rating:
0,25l bottle which poured golden colored body with thick creamy head. Quite typical lager aroma of bread and citrus hops with light malts. Nice flavor, quite full bodied for the style with low bitterness... moderately carbonated, relatively oily textured. Good palate, with nice relatively long finish. Nothing too special but surely one of the best commercial pale lagers.

This beer is fairly decent. Not overly hoppy, and has some decent malt notes. Caronation is nice.

660ml Bottle
A- Gives off a good, strong smell of barley & grassy hops. It is sweet overall.
A- Very light gold, no bubbles & a small head that disappears rather quickly.
T- Crisp & refreshing with a bit of bitterness is the finish..
P- Thin bodied with good carbonation, it has a slight fizz to it.
Pretty much average or slightly better than, a nice beer overall with a crisp, refreshing finish.
