Poured from a 12oz bottle yellow with a fluffy white head that left minimal lacing. Aroma was grassy hops and corn. Flavor was hoppy with a touch of sweet malt and a bit of bitterness in the finish. It was a crisp and refreshing brew, best is ice cold on a hot summer day. They just seam to disappear.

I was expecting a Heineken-type of dutch import, but it was actually somewhat better than that. Poured the expected light golden color with white head, but unlike others of its type, the head lingered for the entire glass and left very good lacing. Has the typical grainy lager aroma, but the taste is flavorful, and the finish is smooth. This actually was not too bad of a beer.

Can. Pours pale gold colour with slightly below average white head. Aromas of light malts, cereals and fruits. Taste is subtle with a good balance between the hop and malt flavours mixed with a sweet fruit taste. Overall it was a pleasant and refreshing beer.

Pleasantly skunky pale gold Pils not a million miles from Grolsch. Sweet malt, grassy hops and a touch of grainy biitterness in the finish. Not as blandly generic as expected.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2007 66cl bottle from Morrisons. Looks like a typical lager; good aroma of fresh grass; crisp and fresh in the mouth a notable bitterness; short clean finish. Far better than the other widely exported mass market Dutch lagers.

An easy-drinking, refreshing beer and cheaper than Grolsch or Heineken, too! Appearance is a bright medium gold with a foamy white head of modest size. Aroma is scarce, perhaps a bit floral. Taste is clean and not as bitter as the aforementioned "other" Dutch beers. Aftertaste is (briefly) a bit sweet - thought I had a wheatbeer going here for a moment but then the hops kick in. Not bad.

for a beer that is mass sold in Canada as a bavarian beer, I really like it, I mean its tasty for someone who doesn’t know Bavarian beer
