Full, slowly diminishing head, very pale golden color. The one outstanding feature is the Saaz hops aroma, which unfortunately does not make it into the flavor, which is weak, slightly sweet, and with a watery texture. It's not bad, but after the initial impression (aroma) upon opening the bottle, everything else was a letdown -- this is no Pilsner Urquell, but neither is it a Coors Light.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grain, corn, slight cereal and subtle metal. Taste of grain, corn, some cereal, slight diacetyl and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, corny finish with a subtle metallic aftertaste. Good body and quite malty but on the other hand, corny, some diacetyl and a metallic finish. Below average lager.

50cl bottle. Poured clear golden color with a thin white head. Apple juice, hay in aroma. Weak flavor, some malt sweetness, cereals and apples. Bulky stuff, as expected. Thin but clean. Short finish.

A light, pale German pilsner. Well balanced and I liked its malt aroma. It is refreshing but doesn?t stand out or impress by any means.

Malt aroma
Right balance of hop
Subtle citrus
Light bodied clear finish

One kind of good mainstream pils. Good for daily beer.
