Ill-flavored farmaceutic dark liquid. Too thin and watery, no malt, no hops. The color is, probably, of artificial origin.

Has the year, 1863 in bold numbers on the label signifying the year the brewery was established. Faint aroma. Clear, large, off-white head with excellent lace. Visible carbonation. Dark amber in color; one of the few dark beers you can find in Russia. Malty with some sweetness. Does taste somewhat like a Bavarian dark. Nothing too distinctive though. Better than most Russian beers, but that is not saying much. Probabaly the worst Russian dark beer (of I think four) that I have rated.

Ruby coloured with creay head. Sweetish with medium body. Somewhat fatty mouthfeel.

The good things in St. Petersburg are the Tsarist remnants (Hermitage, Winter Palace, etc.) The bad things in St. Petersburg are the Soviet remnants (decaying apartment blocks, Bavaria Temnoe, etc.)
