Pours a hazy pale gold with a thin dense white head. Light pineapple and bread aroma. Smooth and soft body. Honey and tropical citrus fruit flavor followed by a light spiciness and alcohol note. Easy drinking and simple.

Abv 8.5%. Pilsener color with soapy head. Quite aggressive foam behavior towards the end of the bottle. A: champagne-like booziness with notes of white grapes, wheat, faint citrus notes. T: sweet, pastry-like taste, which starts with a bitter-sour marzipan flavor. Develops towards a citrus bitterness, with slight wheat undertone. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Aftertaste is a bit dry, bitter-sweet.

Très bonne bière avec du corps et une belle couleur claire. Fraîche, on ne sent pas beaucoup sa gradation. Ça merite!

An ’edelbier’ in the Duvel style, with very thick, snow white foam and clear light golden blond colour; fruity character with some spicy notes and pale malt sweetishness, grassy hop bitterish finish; dryish and a bit artificial. Not quite to my liking.

Bottle gifted by a friend, which they had had in storage for a couple of years. Quite sweet aroma. Mellow honey notes in the flavour and a smooth finish.
