11.2 oz bottle 8/2/11 (binny’s Downers Grove Singles Rack)-46° in footed Pilsner-Pours a slightly hazy yellowish golden with a nice big whtie head. Aroma of amlt, citrus, and hops. Taste of malt, sweetness, grains, hay, and hops. This light bodied brew is not bad. Would be a great mowing the lawn brew.

12 oz can....pours clear straw yellow with white fizzy head. Aroma of grain and some pilsner with mild hop. Flavor is much the same with solid malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light body, watery, with high carbonation. Overall, call me crazy, but it taste like a solid German/Czech lager from Belgium.

Slightly hazy straw color with a thin white head. Aroma of grass, cereal grain, slight spice. Somewhat grainy palate. Not bad, not really anything special.

A: The beer pours a cloudy pale straw color with a large white head exhibiting good retention and sticky lacing. S: Smells a touch cidery but otherwise the pilsener aroma is there. Pale malts and bread with some strong yeastiness. Mild hoppiness in the form of straw, grass, and spice. T: Unfortunately the flavor doesn’t quite match up. Slight sulfur and skunk notes with a strong grassy hop flavor. Some yeast and lots of cereal sweetness. A slight bitterness on the back end. M: Light to medium in body with a medium to high level of carbonation. O: Started off well with a nice appearance and nose, but the flavor fell short.

11.2oz bottle in a footed pilsener glass. Pours light golden with a fluffy, white head. Aroma of light bread malts, some light floral hops and light spice. Not a bad pilsener, and it’s very refreshing. Thin texture. Ok for this style.

Even the can is 11.2 oz. Oh Metric System... Pours a unremarkable medium yellow/light orange color with a foamy head. Aroma is touch of lemon, bready notes. Flavor bready yeasts, lemony citrus, eh. Meh.

There is nothing special or unique about this Belgium beer. What is unique about this beer is that it is cheap for a Belgium, you can buy it in a can, and it is not that bad of a beer. I usually buy a case for the summer.

Serving: 330 ml. bottle from Wegmans. It pours a pale gold with a slight haze and a one finger, frothy white head. Lots of carbonation and action in the head. The nose is light with notes of grass, stale hops, a little grain, and lemon. The flavor is flat, very grainy and has a slight grassy/lemony note. A flat carbonic bitterness and a little grainy sweetness on the back end. Light and thin in body with slightly high carbonation leading to a stale, almost salty finish. This brew certainly isn’t anything I would seek out, but it’s not the worst I’ve had either.
