clear yellow colour, few head, herbal, medium hoppiness, slightly tart, medium-bodied with a dry, light bitter finish

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow, dense tiny and small particles. Aroma is lightly malty (light bread, grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), hint of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is heavily bitter, lightly sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. The aroma is a disappointment, but the flavor balance is actually quite nice, it’s fairly clean, and the mouthfeel is good for the style.

An above-average effort at macro-swill from this Belgian brewery more known for their masterful witbier. I’ve not much to say about this beer, I’m afraid.

There are better pilsners than this one

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2003 (Can) Dark straw color. Aroma is malty with a touch of hops. The palate is light and round. The beer could use a little more in the hop department (5 to 8 IBU). Pasteurization is evident.

very light pilsner. sweet malty taste with floral hoppiness. has almost no mouthfeel.

The nose presents a flowery and bitter hop aroma, which definitely comes forward in the taste. This medium-bodied beer has a light malt flavor and a pleasing bitter bite. The finish is a touch sweet, but fairly clean and crisp overall.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2008 Hazy straw colour. Thick head. Creamy corn nose, with some straw. Soft body with a little spiciness late. Fresh but very creamy malt/corn character, and a mild bitterness. Only a hint of dryness. Well-made, but would have trouble holding my interest for long.

This beer has nothing that could really interest me. Too light, too little taste.
