2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear bright gold with a good white head cover and swaths of lace. A good sessionable pils with a clean malt taste at the onset, followed by full floral hops through the palate, slightly giving way to caramel malt through the finish. Not a big deal, but quite drinkable.

Bottle 330 ml
Aroma: spicy, peppery aroma. Oxidized feel abound. Mild grainy behind. Not best by any stretch.3+
Appearance: pale golden lager with lighter white top. Some lace was shown.3+.
Palate / Taste: Lighter bodied. Sweet grainy notes, hint of corn? Light note of hop behind. Touch of green apple. Passable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz can. Date on the bottom of the can: 18-2-2012. Good thin white head, that fades away. Clear yellow color. Stronger carbonation, dry finish. Very little lace. Basic lagery bready aroma. Light peppery hops. Little salt taste. Bit of bittery saltiness. Easy enough to drink, good with mac and cheese.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Total Wine, Fairfax weird steel cans: Appearance is in the picture so yeah. Aroma is grain and grass. Taste is pretty simple. I think the can adds some weirdness in there. Slightly bitter. Somewhat crisp. Mostly boring. Yet, not all that bad.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
In Belgium, beer just seems to take on a spruce-like, fruity aroma no matter what the brew style happens to be. Crossing over into the visual aspects, I can say the same about it’s cloudy golden color. The gold being typical of the style, the cloudiness being typical of the origin. The taste is initially a sweet one, malty and rich; but there are just enough hops lingering after the finish to keep you from calling this a sweet one. The feel of this brew is very creamy for a pilsner. Overall I can’t say much about this brew other than a decent(but not great) lager-style beer. Best to grab a six-pack and a sack of peanuts or a pretzel and just chill.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tap at St. Arnold’s in DC. Pours crystal clear straw. Suddy, weak white foam. No retention. Nose is heavy detergent and chemicals. Taste is artificial lemon drop candy with lemon air freshener/Lysol spray. Small sugar cube. No mouthfeel. A very small hint of what might be a single noble hop added to an entire mega batch. Not good.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma of pale malt, straw and Belgian yeast. Hazed yellow with decent head. Far more sweet than hoppy; again the yeast are on the front. Light and airy body. Another okay pils.
