Nekronos (1949), Xalapa, Mexico May 12, 2008 VEry strong in taste reminded me a little the strong BElgian Ales but also the Canadian strong lagers. A little sandy.
lithy (247), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 13, 2008 Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Clear yellow straw color with a lacing cover of effervescent white head. Slight yeasty breadiness with sweet malts. Noticeable hoppiness. Bungalo22 (306), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Oct 5, 2008 Poured from the bottle a golden yellow with a nice fluffy head. Not a really strong aroma here but there was some sweet malty notes that came through. It was smooth and light but a bit sweet and malty that makes it taste a bit skunky. Ok for a hot hot day. Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 3, 2008 Bottle @ Bin 18. Clear pale golden with small off-white head and scattered lacing. Very mild, bland and sweet aroma. Soft nice mouthfeel. Decent flavors. Sweet but does have peppery hop in the body. decent, seems well-made, drinkable, and refreshing. canary dog (393), Rutland, Vermont, USA Oct 2, 2008 I was struck by its very light color, even for a pilsener. Nice-- very nice-- tightly woven foam head and Brussels lace. Crisp and refreshing. Very similar to Pilsner Urquell but balanced differently. I still like PU better, but this would be a fine beer on a hot summer day. Beerman6686 (782), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 24, 2008 Poured a golden yellow color with a big white head. Aroma was grassy and some sweet maltiness. Flavor was much the same really bland and hardly any hops to be found.
