From tap at Lucky Baldwins, Pasadena as Bavik Pils. Pours pale and almost clear yellow with a lacing white head. Mild bitterhops aroma. Flavour is citric to orange fruity yet also with an unmistakenly cardboardish note. Light spiced too. Finish is dry, solid bitter and lingering spiced.

Bottled (from thebelgianbeershop.com). Pale yellowish golden colour with mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is grains, grass, some bready malts. Flavour is quite much the same. Quite grainy aftertaste. Very biting and crisp carbonation. as it warms up it gets some slight metallic notes as well.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2008 Hazy straw colour. Thick head. Creamy corn nose, with some straw. Soft body with a little spiciness late. Fresh but very creamy malt/corn character, and a mild bitterness. Only a hint of dryness. Well-made, but would have trouble holding my interest for long.
