This is a great Pils. Slightly green in color, like a classic Pils. Overall, this is the best Pilsner I’ve had in the US thats come over from Europe.

This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of frothy fine to large sized of unnoted length white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body contained suspended carbonation, was thick with suspended yeast and hazy from all the stuff floating around in it and yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of malt hop yeast . Its mouth feel is tingly thick malty with a lingering mild malt bite in the aftertaste. Its flavor contained good malt hop notes. Rather un-pilsner like but very good.

pale golden, murky beer with small white head. Great skunky pils aroma. Flavor is wheat, malt and hops, and very pilsener-like. Mouthfeel is perfect, flavorful, and unobtrusive. Finish is mild.

For it’s style I thought this one was quite good. Pours a light gold with an ok head. Lemon in the arom and a surprising but delightful smoky flavor. Great mouthfeel and a crisp aftertaste where come hops come through.

Yeah, it's a pilsner, and a pretty good one for its style, but I'm not really a pilsner fan.

The example I had (10/7/07 courtesy of kenb) was light but just fine and refreshing and a quality tasty pilsener. Compare: Pils Urquell.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2008 11.2oz brown bottle from Ron’s in Farmington. Pours a translucent light straw color with a good inch of white head that dissipates leaving a fair bit of lacing. Smells fruity with caramel malt, yeast, and hints of DMS. Tastes malty sweet with almost a citric or grape-like component, just the slightest hint of cooked vegetable with a fairly clean finish. Light mouthfeel with effervescent carbonation. Not as hoppy as I’ve come to expect from the style, but otherwise a decent easy-drinking pils that beats the heck out of most Euro-lagers IMO. Oddly the aging seems to have improved this one since my last encounter with it.
