Bright and light aroma.Almost clear golden color. Reminds me of Stella but a bit smoother. Pils zing at first then an almost creamy aftertaste which i dont understand or want to believe but that’s what I’m getting. Damn good for a cheap Pils. Would drink with disc golf.

Bavik is Belgium´s best pils. Way better than Stella Artois, Jupiler or Maes. Clear golden color with nice white foam and a clean aroma. The taste is more like a Bavarian Helles than a pils, although a little less malty than a Bavarian Helles. All in all a nice beer. A step up from Stella and Heineken.
Only drawback is that it is hard to find.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured minimal head on a clear light straw colored body.
The aroma is a faint grain smell.
The taste is unoffensive with a mild bitterness and a touch of honey sweetness.
Light body with moderate carbonation.
I could throw a couple of these back while doing some yard work in the summer...

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bavik has a medium-to-thick, soapy, white head, and hazy golden appearance, some lacing left on the glass, and an enormous amount of bubbles. When I swished the bottom 20% of the bottle, a cloud was seen descending in the glass and lots of little brown specs were visible in the beer. The aroma is of sweet, full, lightly-roasted barley malt, white bread, and a slight hop zing. Taste is of the same elements, with a wonderful, somewhat piney (if you can believe it) hop bitterness showing up mid-sip. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Bavik finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and wonderful. Each sip gets better, and I recommend, in the strongest way, trying this delightful beer! RJT

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
11.2 oz bottle gifted to me as part of a World Market beers of the world 9 pack. The pour is a clear yellow golden, with a noisy, fluffy 2 inch white head. The aroma is lightly herbal sweet malt and husky grain. The taste is the malt sweetness up front, herbal lemon notes, the sharp grain, a touch of toast, and then finishes with more of the sweet sharpness. The herbal sweet turns a bit floral as it warms. The palate is light bodied, somewhat harsh carbonation, and a mineral dry lightly sweet lingering finish. Decently clean, easy drinking.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
250ml bottle! Pours light gold/bright yellow with a short white head that wears out quick and leaves a tiny ring of lace. Smells like lightly rancid apple juice and dry hay. A little better on the palate but still nothing at all to brag about here. It’s very light, continues with the hay and apple juice, very slight hint of hops way in the back. Cleanish finish. Would not every buy.
