mtoast (283), City of Rust, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 11, 2007 On tap, from old notes. Bright golden yellow with dense white foam, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is slightly citrusy and some notes of noble hops. Flavor is very clean, lite maltiness and some good bitterness in the finish. Average pilsner.
DrDavid (153), , Vermont, USA Aug 28, 2008 (Bottle). Mild sweet malt aroma. Very pale gold in color, white head. Flavor is extremely mild, with just a note of sour malt. Almost no finish. Forgettable pilsener. rustychiles (429), Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 20, 2008 Can!
Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of corn, hops, malt. Flavor is malt, bready a little grass. Easy drinking for sure, not a bad pils. FastEddie (151), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 6, 2008 Pours a really clean white head that stays around for a while. Lots of bubbles. Aroma is very light and clean with some hops. The beer itself is perfectly clear and golden. The flavor is subtle... has a fair amount of hops. Decent for summer. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Lucky Baldwins, Pasadena as Bavik Pils. Pours pale and almost clear yellow with a lacing white head. Mild bitterhops aroma. Flavour is citric to orange fruity yet also with an unmistakenly cardboardish note. Light spiced too. Finish is dry, solid bitter and lingering spiced. SpudClampDawg (919), Jasper, Indiana, USA Aug 4, 2008 11.2 oz bottle: Pale yellow pour with a rising white cap that sticks all around. The nose is delicate, but complex, with notes of light caramel, fresh white bread, watery honey, cereal and distant grass. The medium-mouthfeel and moderate carbonation releases more of the hop character onto the tongue. Notes of grass and pine lead the way as more creamy caramel and buttery bread follow. Very clean from start to finish - a nice example of the pilsener style.
