Lothore (226), California, USA Apr 27, 2008 Poured strait into the glass a very water fizzy looking golden color. The upside is that the head retains fairly well and leaves some nice lacing. The smell is of wheat, fairly bland, smells similar to typical mass proudced american beers. The taste is not objectionable but doesnt seem to be distinct at all. Not what I was expecting, very fizzy and thin. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated and thin. Overall this beer is very drinkable which is its upside. I wouldn’t recommend trying it unless you get it for free. I certainly wont be purchasing it again.
Crosling (1605), Loveland, Colorado, USA Jun 28, 2008 12 ounce can. Pale golden color. Thin white foam that lasts well. Nose shows some light malts, a touch of vinous character and some grassy hops. Really clean nose. Flavor has some bready malty character and some tangy, slightly citrus hops. Well balanced, clean lager. airforce1 (61), Atascosa, Texas, USA Jun 22, 2008 This is a great Pils. Slightly green in color, like a classic Pils. Overall, this is the best Pilsner I’ve had in the US thats come over from Europe. presario (2389), Calgary, Alberta, Canada May 25, 2008 Based on the number of ratings this is most likely what I had on tap at Stumblink Monk. Nice creamy head. Earthy straw. Euro lager scent. Straight forward flavour profile. A bit of sourness around the edges. Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA May 23, 2008 Bottle. Ours amber golden with a thick white head. Aroma is light malt, bitter. Flavor is dull grass, and some sweet malt. crap. CharlesDarwin (1334), State College, Pennsylvania, USA May 22, 2008 33cL Bottle at the Michigan House Cafe - Calumet, MI. Light grassy hop nose, lemon-tinged malt and a bit of alcohol in the aroma. Pours a slightly hazy yellow, with a clean white soap lacing the glass. Flavor is a decent blend of faint bready pils malt, some juicy hops and water. No metallic bitterness, skunkiness or soap. This is a clean, mildly flavor, pleasantly hop-dappled pilsener. Very refreshing, rather clean and quenching. Underrated, in my opinion. Because it’s nice to get a fresh, balanced pils every once and a while.
