3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bavik is Belgium´s best pils. Way better than Stella Artois, Jupiler or Maes. Clear golden color with nice white foam and a clean aroma. The taste is more like a Bavarian Helles than a pils, although a little less malty than a Bavarian Helles. All in all a nice beer. A step up from Stella and Heineken.
Only drawback is that it is hard to find.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer pours a slightly hazy light golden with a medium white head that fades quickly. The aroma blends pils malt, bready undertones, light lager yeast, and a touch of citrusy hops. The taste is slightly sweet and a touch sour with an aftertaste that is a touch bready. The palate fuses an average carbonation, light body, and a somewhat creamy texture.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Grain, malt and grass aroma which is all on light side. Golden body with a faint haze. Foamy one fingered head that lingers quite a bit. Smooth grainy malt taste. Character seems to be over quickly. Clean finish as advertised. Pleasant to the end.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pale gold with a white head. Aroma is grainy with light floral and grassy hops that whilst shy are nice enough. Thinnish but rather sweet and grainy, hops are there but hardly in abundance. OK, but forgettable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy and citric and lightly grassy. Cracker-y Pilsner malt is lightly husky and starchy. Faint plastic and saccharine off-notes. Light bodied, sweet and twangy with quiet bitterness. Noble hops expressed well but malt is simple and sweetness a little high. Not as bad as expected, easily drinkable but doesn’t demand your attention.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not very crisp, crossing over into blonde ale territory, hops are almost an afterthought. Sweetish cereal grains, light aroma and taste, extremely pale golden body, small wispy head. Cereal finish.
