From the 12 fl. oz. can which is rather old. Dated 11/26/13. The pour is a slightly cloudy amber brown with a tremendous head. Aroma of roasted malts and vague earthy hops. Body is light. The taste has a slightly more evident hop character but the roasted malts still tend to take control. Slight lingering finish.

can. pours unclear medium dark golden-orange with a very nice creamy off-white head, good retention and lacing. toasted cereals, nice fruitiness - akin to premium lagers - peaches perhaps, grass - some nobleness, herbal tea, pinch of dirt and coffee, hint of sweetness - soft caramel and brown sugar. moderate carbonation, light body - textured, balanced dry chalky-grassy-earthy-herbal finish.

I’m not sure I tried any of these ambers in a glass, I believe all were consumed in the can, so I just gave a middling 3 for the appearance. Not a terribly exciting beer, but there didn’t seem to be any flaws either. It was well balanced and somewhat enjoyable.

Malt and slight stinky aroma. Pretty neutral overall. Taste is balanced and full flavored for an amber. Pretty descent beer. Bitter dry finish, but drinkable for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2013 Draft. Pours amber orange with thin white head they dissipates. Mild Carmel aroma over light carbonation. Unusual sweet hop flavor. It’s like a hoppy Sam lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Rating #5255)

Aroma is floralish caramel, must and spice. Clear amber, unusual amount of lacy head for this type. Sweet like toasted whitebread and buttery crackers. Semi-thick, slick body. Average amber that leans towards malt crunch.

12oz can hazy reddish brown with 2 finger head that fades and leaves big lacing. Nose is fruity, bready, subtle spices, subtle hops, yeast, earthy. Mouthfeel is malty and smooth with good carbonation on the back end. Taste is earthy fruits, bread, tomato, subtle hops, mild bitterness. Finish is dank subtle bitterness, some fruity notes, almond. Fine.

Can sample at Canvitational. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted earthy malt aroma. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Soft drinkable beer.

Not a good beer. Light cracker and pilsner type malts without much of anything else. This really isnt flavorful or unique in any way.
