Pours semi light amber / red, somewhat clear body with a moderate amount of carbonation seen rising, half finger white foamy head, smell is malty yet hoppy, taste is balanced between the two, clean malty lightly undercarbonated on the palate, overall - I like this one, Ive had it several times and am glad to always come back to it

Caramelized onions with a smooth hop bite. Undercurrent of malt and bread. Tin, too. What else do I remember? Can from Leary’s.

Draft Portland Brewfest. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit hop undertone. Malt sweetness mellows to an Earthy hop with a crisp bitterness. Lots of bready malts as well. The body is light and goes down easy. Simple and straight forward. Nothing here is going to “blow you away” but it can be a nice session brew.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 TATE (212) - Lubec, Maine, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Can. Pours amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is hoppy and bready. A bit of spicy and hop bitterness take over pretty quickly and is more hoppy than I was expecting for an amber. Much better poured into a glass than out of the can.

A clear amber ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light butterscotch, quite smooth. In mouth, a nice oily butterscotch caramel with light lingering British hops, smooth and grassy. On tap at Sunset Grill, July 15, 2012.

Thx Jf and Jess A: caramel, biscuity, roasty, citrusy. App: hazy amber with small white head. T/p: body is medium with sweet and short finish and just a touch of acidity. Carbonation is average. O: nice like the maltiness it’s super drinkable and contains no flaw. I would see me drink it has a session.

Pours deep amber into a Sam glass. Off-white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sour malt aromas. Sweet butterscotch front to back...not much else going on...looks are deceiving...

Pours a hazy amber brown color with minimal off white head... Aromas are kinda boozy malty sweet caramel aromas... on the palate it is alot of the same... sweet round malts, toasty nutty flavors with touches of earthy hops. It has a medium mouthfeel rolling into a mouth coated toasted barley flavor that kinda ruins the finish for me... not my favorite style and a bit heavy on the malts and light on the hops.

Nice hoppy mouthfeel for an amber. Loved it from start to finish. This beer was much more than I expected. Could easily see myself taking a sixer of these to the beach for a day.
