COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first unfiltered offering, Celsius Summer Ale is the perfect warm weather beer! Celsius Summer Ale is light and refreshing while still keeping your taste buds interested. The malt base features a hefty dose of wheat for a big, fluffy head and a soft, round body, yet keeps the beer drinkable even during the dog days. The light malt character is more than balanced by a blend of citrusy American hops, giving Celsius a crisp bitterness without being overpowering. The hoppy citrus aroma complements the ingredients that make this beer so unique: lemon and lime peel, Kaffir lime leaves, and lemongrass provide an subtle yet unmistakeable floral nose and just a touch of bracing tartness, taking the refreshment of Celsius to the next level.

(Draft @ ME Brewers’ Guild Fest) I didn’t take many notes on this...Flat-tasting, perhaps fruitiness and yeast. Not sure the current dubbel classification is accurate.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a big fluffy whit head leaving big lacing. Nose is lemon grass - no doubt. Palate is light medium body with a light wheat touch and a complex bitterness not entirely hops. A different and welcome take on a summer ale. As has been mentioned, renamed "Summer Swelter."

Newly release can, now named Summer Swelter but with the same designed can. Pours a hazy blonde color with a three finger fizzy head. On the nose its got lime, spearmint, hay and bubblegum. The palate is bright with lots of lemon lime and a touch of arugula bitterness. Interesting beer with lots of limey notes that being a lime fan I kind of like... the linger leaves a bit to be desired but Id take this over many other options in the lime category.

Pours gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Lemon/lime aromas. Crisp with sour lime front to back with a lasting bitter lemon pith finish. Little too much on the citrus...

12 oz can. Bought a six pack in a grocery store in Rangeley Maine while on vacation. Pours a bright golden color with a lot of floaties. Pour netted a one finger white frothy head that receded quicly. Citrus heavy aroma with lots of lemon and lime. Some grain scent as well. Citrus hop flavor dominated by lime. Secondary wheat flavors. A bit light in body with good carbonation. Very much an easy drinking summer beer.

gave this beer a second chance and won’t give it a third. flat, languid, unexciting. i suppose there’s a bit of citrusness in there that is something positive. overall, however, boring as hell.

Light grain aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Light sweet beginning with a light bitter finish.
