3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the can, it was poured into a pint glass. It had a hazy golden, yet slightly orange body. The white head forms and fades within seconds. The lacing is ringy. The smell is grainy, slightly corn but sweet fruits and light hops. The taste has the grain again, however, I do notice some breadiness. Once again the fruit comes back with the hops. The palate has a light body with a high carbonation that is smooth. It finishes with a slight bitterness.
Overall, this is good for me and the style

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Malty aroma with some citrus and piney hop aroma. Flavor is descent, malty and a nice hoppy balance. Maybe a bit watery palate and maybe a bit too bitter finish. Slight yeasty flavor in there too. But not a bad beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
pours hazy very light yellow with a small slightly creamy white cap, some retention and lacing. faint bready, biscuity and crackery malts, pale cereals, light citrus and minty pine, dusty yeastiness - vanilla-esque angles, few clementines, pepper, slightly garbagy. moderate carbonation, light body - slightly watery, short grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. o-k.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can at the cabin in NH. Pours crystal clear orange-gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy white head. Simple dry bready malts in the aroma, some lightly ripened orange. Light sweet flavor with decent balance, more dry bread, faint pine, toasty pine, leaves, orange and other citrus. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple and pretty well balanced to finish, with lightly toasted bread, hints of grains and hay, orange rind. Basic, easy-drinking session beer - a camping beer, if you like. Not bad.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Color is a thin yellow gold, just a shade darker than most macros. Smell of grass, stagnant water. Taste is decent though -- light and fizzy with a bit of a malty bite. Ideal for outdoors on a hot day.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml can. Glad to see this isn’t classed as an APA. Deep gold yellow, slight haze, decent head. Sweet nose with a hint of hops. Malt taste is not especially full but balances well with the mild hop bitterness. Creamy body. If this were an APA it falls short, but as a blonde it is decent. Reminded me of a slightly more bitter cream ale.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draught at Deep Ellum, 2/21 and 2/22/14
At first I thought they gave me the wrong beer. An odd, rusty amber color with a small white head. Moderately hazy...
Not much in the nose, some light biscuity grains, bitter, mineral-like, almost metallic hoppiness.
The flavor was a strange mix of brown bread-like maltiness, bitter, straw/grassy hops and lots and lots of buttercream and earthy/dirty yeastiness.
My first thought was that this was not poured through the tap well enough, but I saw about 5 other people drinking the beer and it was late on Friday night so that was hard to believe. Next thought was that it was a freshly delivered, shaken up keg (still wouldnt explain the rampant diacetyl). Anyways, I wasn’t going to rate it, until, the next day, the bartender (coincidentally, my ex-girlfriend) gave me a free pint of it. While the haziness has mostly subsided, the dark brown highlights had not, nor had the diacetyl. Not sure what was going on but not good. Will try it again some time, however.

Consumed from the can. Smell is caramel malts, very slight citrus. Taste is crisp and clean, pretty much a clone of Sierra Nevada.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very crisp and clean pale ale. Low hop profile. Extremely bland and clean finish, with nothing special or remotely offensive suggested by it. Tastes like a draft beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from trade with crajun. Pours a clear light orange color with a small head that quickly fades. Aroma is faint fruity and orange hops with a little malt. Taste is dry and fairly bitter. Light citrusy sweetness. Hops taste a bit old. Average pale ale.
