COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In our hometown in 1965, Muhammad Ali won the world heavyweight title with a knockout blow some consider a "Phantom Punch". As our tribute to that fight, this big flippin’ stout packs a wallop of its own, with a ghostly hint of cocoa nib s and vanilla beans.

With the two Zachs, Pablo, Josh, Marissa, and Audrie, pours a rich dark black pour . Nose is sweet malt , cocoa and vanilla. Taste is rich, thick , sweet vanilla almost lending is coconut taste to the ale . Finish is thick , long and ends on the same sweet malty vanilla notes . Quaff Score 7 / 10

On tap at Village Porterhouse in NYC. Pours black with a tan head and aroma of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste if full of vanilla and coffee with creamy chocolate notes into the finish.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2016 Dark brown pour with a large frothy tan head. Aroma is malty but not overly pronounced. Solid stout backbone, malty, slightly roasty, mild bitterness in finish, not my favorite flavor profile. Soft, medium body.

12oz can from Xroads. Poured a decently thick pitch black with a thick foamy mocha head. Aroma of vanilla extract, ash, char, soy sauce, cola, burnt chocolate. Flavor isn’t quite as complex more like vanilla extract, muffin, ash, char and berry skins. Body is medium at best, average carbonation at best, lingering lightly charred aftertaste.

Smells of straight strong black coffee. Nice deep rich black color. Taste is to die for strong cocoa nibs with a strong coffee profile with nice mmalty finish on the backbone. Carbonation is perfect for the style of beer. All in all I can say this could be one of my favorite stouts. Once again Baxter coming out with a nice brew.

12 ounce can. Opaque dark brown color. Large thick tan head. Rich malty aroma, redolent of cocoa and java. Lots of roasted malt flavor with notes of cocoa, black cherries and coffee. Resiny hops balance this nicely.

Single can from Julio’s. Pours out jet black with a light brown head that fades to a thin lace. Super malty aromas and flavors. Dry roasty bitterness. Good balance. Heavy body. Dry bitter finish.

12oz. can: This one pours an inky dark brown color. there was a small tan head that didn’t leave any lacing. Decent but lighter nose. Some chocolate, roasted malts and maybe a hint of vanilla. The taste is good. Chocolate and roasted malts, faint vanilla. Neutral: no sweetness or bitterness noticeable. Tasty.
